Project Description
The client came to us with a brief to create a bright, modern property in Stockbridge Edinburgh geared towards high quality short term rental market from a ground floor colony that was pretty much in its original state. The client had very strong ideas about what she wanted and how she wanted it to look and we provided the design tweaks and technical expertise to make the clients ideas reality. The project was very technically demanding as it involved a network of beams to remove most of the main structural wall in this ground floor property to allow an open plan dining/ kitchen opening onto the hall with clever use of every square foot of space to maximise storage and utility areas. We replaced all existing windows for new and fully rewired and replumbed the property adding a new energy efficient heating system. We applied for all the permissions as well as running the project from start to completion and were very pleased with the end result which was a stunning modern colony property.
